ROCK THE BELLS: rock the bells was FUCKING GREAT, considering it was my first one. its probably the funnest thing ive done all summer. me and genessa just had a good ass day, even if it was halla hot and we wasted most of our money on drinks. i didnt get to see willem, but i did get a chance to say hi to gabby, christine, and camille. it was great. reflection eternal, halla good. the roots, some soul lifting shit, right there. big boi, like a blast from the past with outkast. busta rhyme, motherfucker is hilaaarious. nas, nigga knows how to put shit down. and damian marley, utterly amazing and my highlight of the night. the new joints by nas and marley were so clean. got to get their new album when it comes out. overall, it was a pretty damn sucessful day. i love genessa for bringing me! thank you so much.
small roadtrip: so today, my dad, genessa, allison, albert, and my aunt and uncle drove up to sacramento to visit my grandpa's brother in the hospital. thank god he's doing well. he had surgery on his head, but he's had a great recovery and its only been a day. we were all worried, but he's fine and all is well. most of the day consisted of driving. when we got back to the bay we went back to my aunt and uncles and ate. then i went home. it was nice catching up with my extended family though. but i had a nice day.
