so let me give you the low-down of what ive done for the past 2 days, because theyve been great.
monday was supposed to be the day me and genessa were supposed to leave for davis. but she rescheduled to tuesday. so what was i going to do, stay home? oh, haaaall no. i decided to kick it with mary jane instead. and kicking it with mary jane turned into another divine breakfast and heading to new park with jeannel and mix. i was so happy to see them. i missed them. jeannel is just hilarious, and always makes me laugh. i drove to genessas house around 2 30. for about 3 hours and a half we just chilled and ate and talked, until it was six. then, we headed over to my cousins house, where we picked up uncle pete to go house hunting (hes a realator). josh and andrew tagged along. it was halla fun. we saw some pretty scary houses and one nice one that we couldnt even go inside of. and there were many cats. like 8. when we got back home, me and ness just ate dinner and talked late into the night about nonsense and memories, like always.
i woke up the next morning around 8 to get ready to leave for our little staycation in davis. we ended up leaving around 10. our drive mostly consisted of land, sky, keri hilson, mariah carey, and oldies. radio isnt too diverse, huh? we made it to davis right at noon and dropped our bags and the car off at nessas town house, then walked around through the campus and around downtown. its really nice here, esp because everyone rides bikes. theres never a corner you turn where you dont see someone riding a bike. i saw so many ten speeds and fixies :) but even downtown in general is nice. its quiet and chill, and lined with many little shops, cafes, and frozen yogurt joints. we ended up eating at hunans, which was sooo good and sooo cheap. then after had frozen yogurt at yogurt shack. yuum. then we pretty much wandered. we ended up browsing through a a book shop, a music store, a shop that sold nepalian goods, and a number of bike shops (which was heaven). and for awhile we sat at the park under the shade, where i think were going today to read books. later, we walked back to the house to change and get the bike, so we could tour the arboretum. the arboretum was just dandy. it was so peaceful and your just surrounded by foilage and nature. and occasionally youll pass other people riding there bikes or walking the trails. for a long time on our way back, ness and i sat on a bench surrounded by a tree and talked about our lives, how were not like most people, and our fear of the furture. after the arboretum we came back to get the car, so we could eat at sonic. it was my first time going there. it was awesome. the whole time just felt like a sonic commercial. haha. i had a burger, onion rings, and a peach shake. mmm, sooo good. when we were finished we went back home and just chilled some more, played some omgpop, and showered (because i felt halla grimey). at about 10, we sat on nessas balcony under the stars. i taught her a lot about astronomy, even though shes older then me. and we talked a lot about life, where they should be taking us, and why we think things happen. it was a great talk, and only happens with a few number of people. genessa is one of them. shes my best friend and i love her so much. when it started to get cold, we came back inside, and for some reason started to search the real names of musicians who have stage names. you should try it one day, youll have a ball.
i dont remember when we went to sleep. all i remember is i had the weirdest fucking dream last night. it was like being in csi: new york. it was so confusing and scary, and like there was halla random people in it. i woke up this morning like wtf! and then decided to write about my last 2 days. genessa is packing some stuff up to go back home. i dont really know what else were doing today other than reading at the park. i know when we go back home, i have turntable lessons with my dad. and thats about it. but im getting hungry, so i guess more tomorrow, agreed?
